I discovered music and picked up all the songs I heard from the toys I played with and movies I watched as a kid—mostly nursery rhymes and Disney songs—and sang them all throughout the day.
While it has always been my passion, I found the industry very intimidating. I grew up backstage watching celebrities and seeing the daily grind, the compromise, and the struggles so I never really wanted to be a star. But when I wrote and recorded Circles in 2016, I realized I couldn't deny my calling to be a singer anymore.

To this day, all I really want to do is write and sing because no matter what, it’s all about the music. Everything else that comes with it goes into a part of my mind and my life that remains a blur. I’m really happy that I’m writing and that I have the opportunity to work with great producers and I get to be my whole self when I’m in the studio.
